Laser Marking Companion

Laser Marking Companion ("the App") is a mobile application for laser marking professionals. It includes educational content, parameter estimation tools, and report generation - all running entirely on your device. This policy is short because our data practices are simple: we collect nothing.
1. Security: We do not collect your data / your data stays on your device
The App does not require an account and collects, stores, or transmits no personal information of any kind. There are no advertisements, no analytics, and no tracking. Nothing you enter ever leaves your device.
All estimations and reports are stored locally on your device. If you export a report via email or file sharing, that action is entirely yours - we never see the content. When you delete the App or clear its data, everything is permanently removed. There is nothing for us to secure or recover on our end.
The App does not request access to your photos, camera, contacts, location, microphone, or tracking identifier. Saving and exporting a report uses the system share sheet on your device. That action is yours, and we never receive the content. Apple and Google may collect anonymized crash and performance diagnostics through the App Store and Google Play as part of their standard developer services. Those diagnostics are covered by their policies, linked in Section 2, and are not data we collect or control.
2. Payments
Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), depending on the device you use. We do not handle your payment or billing information directly. On your device, the App receives only a purchase or restore confirmation from that store so it can unlock content. We do not receive your payment card details. 3. Third-party services
The App contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. System features like email and file sharing are provided by your device's operating system and governed by its own privacy policies.
4. Your privacy rights
Because the App collects no personal data, rights under the GDPR (EU/EEA), CCPA/CPRA (California), and COPPA (children under 13) are satisfied by design. There is nothing to access, correct, port, or erase beyond what already exists on your own device.
To exercise your right to erasure or data portability: delete the App or clear its data in your device settings (erasure), or use the App's export function to transfer your reports (portability). No request to us is necessary.
Children's privacy: This App is intended for professional use and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where required by applicable law). We collect no data from any user, including minors.

5. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the App or on the app store listing. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
